“Roosevelt Field and Ye Motor Parkway” Executed by Artist Eric Sloane
A prolific member of the Hudson River School of painting, Eric Sloane (1905-1985) was an artistic genius. Among his nearly 15,000 paintings was this 1933 sketch of Roosevelt Field including "Ye Motor Parkway".
