Then & Now: Racing on Roslyn Roads
As part of the lecture series sponsored by the Roslyn Landmark Society, tonight I will be presenting an overview of the Vanderbilt Cup Races with a focus on racing in the Roslyn area.
The program will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at the Atria of Roslyn, 100 Landing Road, Roslyn. A summer barbeque will begin at 6:00 PM on the Atria waterfront patio followed by the lecture at 7:45 PM.Weather permitting: The 1909 Alco Black Beast racer will also be on display.

Hi Howard, in cruising up toward Roslyn today I noticed the 25 MPH speed zone just south of Main Street, is there actual photo enforcement on those ? Mike

The Nassau County Legislature has repealed the Speed camera law. However, the law will be enforced until County Executive Ed Mangano signs the repeal.
