Film “William K. Vanderbilt Jr.‘s Eagle Nest Home”

The cable channel WealthTV has created a new episode of their Palatial Passport series focusing on William K. Vanderbilt Jr. and his Eagle's Nest home. Here is a 6-minute segment from the episode.

I assisted producer Graham Shelton of WealthTV in the selection of the images for the show. Here are three Willie K. photos that were used:

Willie K. in his 20s enjoying the sun on his sailboat.

While on his 213-foot diesel yacht Alva, he and his crew captured this giant stingray.

In 1931, Willie K. and his wife Rosamund were greeted by a tribe of Aborignes at Great Palm Island in Queensland, Australia.

Today, the Alco Black Beast will be participating in the LI Moose Classic Car Club's 10th Anniversary Show, Capital One Bank, 10095 Main Road Mattituck, to benefit the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge, #1742, 9:00 AM.
