Now: The Curve, Building and Stone Wall Today
Note: The stone wall similar to the Mystery Foto.
After being hit by an automobile, #1 Mineola Avenue has been lifted and placed on wood cribbing columns for the installation of a new foundation.

1 Mineola Avenue, building was built in 1888 and was owned in 1906 and at least through 1914 by the Doxsey family.

Reason for the house being raised probably has to do with the damage shown to the lower portion of the building in one of the following pictures.

Happened to have past this location last Friday and noticed the home being l lifted. Was also featured in a blog back in 2010.

The building was the home of the Roslyn Veterinary Clinic at 212 Mineola Avenue.
We are looking approximately east in Roslyn at the intersection of Mineola Avenue (going off to the right) and Old Northern Blvd. going down the hill to the left. The current address is #1 Mineola Avenue, site of the Roslyn Village Veterinarian. This was part of the 1906 Vanderbilt Cup Race course.
