An open invitation to see the VanderbiltCupRaces.com Archives at Waterfront at Roslyn this Sunday from 10:00 am to Noon


“Chain your dogs and lock up your fowls” the archives room will be open!

This Sunday, August 6th, 2023, at 10am to Noon, The Classic Car Club of America, NY Region, will be visiting with their cars at the Waterfront at Roslyn Garage at 55 Lumber Road. Roslyn for a visit to view and learn about the car collection.

All VanderbiltCupRaces.com readers, Vanderbilt Cup Race and Motor Parkway enthusiasts are welcome to view Howard's car collection as well to tour the archives room! Gram Spina  or I can take small groups in at a time to view the rare items and documents from Peter Helck as well as Long Island Motor Parkway items and memorabilia.

While there on Sunday, just ask me, Howard or Gram and we'll bring you in to see these rarely seen treasures!

The Classic Car Club -Long Island Sound Region  last visited the Waterfront at Roslyn in 2017. Pre-restored Tucker 1044 was brown.

Michael - your east wall of the bridge remnant, is the last of two still standing on Pell Terrace! The west wall was removed recently in 2018

I was out of town at a hillclimb, but next time will try to make it. Does Howard’s collection contain theVanderbilt Motoring Log? Helping a friend with a book and wanted to see if Vanderbilt visited the London Crystal Palace Motor show in 1904 as the Baker Torpedo was on display.

If you are talking about Vanderbilt’s ‘Log of my Motor’,  there is no mention of the 1904 London Crystal Motor show
